De astap van de krukas wordt nu op drie in plaats van twee punten ondersteund om trillingen van de krukas bij hoge toerentallen te verminderen en de duurzaamheid van de standaard krukas te vergroten.
Aangezien de generator van GROM, MSX125, MSX125SF is gemonteerd op de L. carterdeksel, is de montagerichting van het vliegwiel dichter bij de buitenkant (As tip).
Dit betekent dat het draaiende gewicht van het zware vliegwiel buiten het uiteinde van de krukas wordt geplaatst, waardoor de belasting bij optrekken en afremmen bij motoren met een verbeterde pick-up wordt verdubbeld.
Hierdoor kunnen de generator en het vliegwiel met elkaar interfereren, wat het ontstekingstijdstip nadelig kan beïnvloeden, of in het ergste geval, de krukas kan beschadigen.
Dit product heeft kogellagers in de stator om de krukaslagering te veranderen van een 3-punts steun in een 4-punts steun om de krukasuitloop te beperken die optreedt in het hoge toerentalbereik van een opgeboorde motor.

The vibration at high rpm has been properly reduced and is no longer a concern.
In preparation for the Bore up, I installed the 125cc as is.

Takegawa Crankshaft Support Adapter Monkey 125
Another supporting mod for the BBK upgrade is the 4th bearing support to keep the engine in good health with that added power from the 143cc N-20 kit. Beautifully made item from Special Parts Takegawa as you would expect and installation was accomplished when I had the left side of the engine open for other upgrades. Keep designing great parts Takegawa the Monkey 125 owners love them all.

Power up essentials - even if you don't need them!
Although I did not do Power up, when I changed Clutch to oil pressure, because the centrifugal oil filter attached to Crankshaft was removed and the load was eliminated, absurd Vibration occurred, I did not intend to put it on, but if I put it on, I thought that I could reduce vibration and installed it. I did. What a surprise! Vibration is reduced (about 80%)! How much is now about a NORMAL new car.
Installation is a pain in the ass! If you're going to do it, I'd recommend a replacement assembly with the Super Camshaft Chain Tensioner as well! The process is the same.
I don't think it's necessary unless you Bore up or otherwise power up, putting it on a NORMAL car won't reduce the vibration!

Fits well and definitely as described to stabilise the crankshaft. It even comes with a gasket.Instructions are in Japanese but the it is accurate and easy to follow as with every Takegawa products. Will with only with stock inspection cover. If English instructions is required you can find it on the Takegawa website. But nothing phone android translator.
