I have many uses for the compass so I do not want to permanently attach it to the bike. I will find a way to keep it removable. Maybe a sucker. I took a risk with this item as the only place to put it was on a non-magnetic metal instrument screen, and quite close to the instrumentation too. Unfortunately this does mean it does get occasional interference from magnetic fields on the bike. This isn't a big deal for me as I mainly just want to know which general direction my bike is travelling when in unfamiliar territory. If there was one thing this compass lacks, that would be a glow in the dark feature; which it doesn't have..hence it's useless when on the move at night.

Recommended for touring mapple users
It looks good when attached to the back of the Screen. This type of product has been around for a long time, but with Navigation being used by the majority, it is an item that we do not want to see go away.

I use the Compasses to easily check which direction I'm running in while driving, and when I'm touring in the summer relying on my phone's Navigation and it malfunctions on the Holder.
