I switched to a handlebar that’s about 40mm lower than stock, so I was looking for slightly shorter cables and decided to give this one a try.Since the stock cable length for the Monkey 125 isn’t listed anywhere online, I ordered the Grom version for comparison.It hasn’t been installed yet, but I’m hoping it will fit without any issues.
I switched to a lower handlebar on my Monkey 125 and ordered this cable at the same time. The engine-side bracket has a slight bend compared to the stock one, but it doesn’t cause any installation issues.It definitely feels smoother than the OEM clutch cable. Spraying a bit of lubricant on the inner wire before installing it helps keep the feel smooth for a long time. View Detail
The KITACO Clutch Cable for the Honda MSX 125 GROM (or Monkey) is a better option than the OEM version especially if you change to different handlebars since it is shorter and so makes a much better fit, the quality seems also very good.View Detail
After lowering Handlebar Clutch did not connect properly so buy it. It is impossible for me to be Plating the tip. Black was good. Just exchange with NORMAL for installation. It took less than 30 minutes.View Detail

There was a need to replace the cables on my Honda Monkey. The original cables had damage to the outer jacket. To my delight, KITACO had these items in its product range. [How is it used? The normal cable is getting old and is not working well, so we decided to upgrade the cable as a replacement.
Was the one you received as per Image? Parenthesis is good because you can see that it has been replaced by the color as shown in the Image!
Was the installation difficult? It is only an exchange with the NORMALClutch cable, but for the first time, you may be confused at the spring part on the clutch receiver side.
How was your experience with it? The Normal cable was old and no good, but this one with Stainless Steel Wire is lighter and seems to be more durable.

I bought this for my Monkey 125 JB03 because I lowered the handlebar and wanted a slightly shorter cable. After removing the OEM cable and comparing the length, it turns out they’re essentially the same.(The Kitaco cable only has a slightly shorter outer sheath, which makes the throttle free play a bit tighter.)It wasn’t the length I was hoping for, but the cable itself is more flexible and feels higher in quality than the stock one, so I’m still satisfied with it.View Detail
