I had already purchased the cam chain tensioner for the YZF-R1 2020 and it just made sense to also purchase the tensioner gasket as it would probably not be in the best condition once removed. I do not like reusing old gaskets if a new one is available and this was the case. The gasket was easy to locate and was really good value. I had this gasket shipped together with the cam chain tensioner and the cam chain to keep the parts all together. The cost of shipping was good value too as I combined parts in the same order. They were delivered with care using EMS in 5 days. The gasket was in the standard Yamaha packet and was kept nice and flat. Yes, it is only a small gasket but if they are meant to be fitted flat, they should arrive with me flat too. This was the case as Webike warehouse are awesome. I also needed to purchase a new cam chain for the YZF-R6 2014 along with the cam chain tensioner. No specific issue with the old one but as this bike has had a fair few track miles, it was around about time anyway. I found the right chain by checking Yamaha schematics. The cost of this was better than could be sourced locally and along with some other parts including the tensioner and gasket, my order shipped together. EMS was my chosen courier as I trust them and they just get the orders delivered fast. In 5 days my order arrived. The cam chain came in the Yamaha packet and the chain was also wrapped inside the packet with brown paper. Not sure why this is with all cam chains but must be for a good reason. Everything was perfectly packaged and had no issues. The cam chain itself is a beautifully free flowing chain and you can see the quality. Now all I have to do is fit all the parts and see how we go. This is something I have been looking for a long time. This item used to attach the timing chain adjuster to the bike. Also, it is a very good quality item because of material is great.I have used similar items before, but they are not of this quality.
