This is a replacement for the original front left fork protector that got damaged by a large stone whilst riding. Nothing too major but it did detract from the awesome looks of the bike and it is not that old either. I found the right protector by using Yamaha schematics and then searching Webike to see if they had stock. Unfortunately, on this occasion, Webike had to order this protector. Not a big issue as I had time anyway to sort this out. Besides, the price Webike had this on sale for was far better than my local dealer. So, after only 3 days of waiting, Webike shipped my part. I used EMS as they get the job done fast and efficiently. The order arrive just 6 days later. The package was well presented and everything inside was well protected. The protector itself is a moulded part and was well made, the quality is excellent from Yamaha. The actual protector does not have a painted surface, instead, it is a flat plastic but this does not mean it is bad quality at all. It looks immaculate. There is a flex in it which does accommodate some small rocks that hit but that is a good thing. Anyway, fitting was straight forward and all complete and ready go hit the road once again. This bike, the MT10 , a new clutch cable was needed as the existing one was starting to fray. No point in waiting for it to actually snap so this needed replacing fast. After checking on Webike website, I found them to have an absolutely fantastic price, well less than half what they are in the UK from genuine Yamaha parts dealer. Unfortunately though, the Yamaha dealer in the UK could not give an estimate of when they would be able to get the parts needed. Not an issue with Webike. As these were part of a larger order with other MT10 parts, the shipping was brilliant, not expensive and not too cheap, express delivery is what I went for. From ordering all the different parts in the order to being delivered to my door was literally just 7 days. Including a weekend and the wait time for Webike to source the parts from the different manufacturers. How good is that. Upon receipt, the box was perfect and as Webike package all these very well indeed, nothing was damaged. There was also another layer of padding on top. What more can you ask for. The cable came in it's own Yamaha packet and was in perfect condition when it arrived. The lug was secure, the cable nicely lubricated so slide through the guide outer easily. Fitting is not difficult on an road bike as not really much gets in the way. Now the clutch feels a whole lot better. Happy days. A little bit of a service and new oil change including oil filter for this FZ1N. The filter was easy to find, it also fits a few different models so is readily available. The price was really good, and still better than could source locally for the same K&N part. As I always have more than one part in each order, the cost of shipping is really good. I generally use EMS Fast service as it gets to me very quickly and the tracking is full, I mean full as in every step of the journey. I know exactly when the order will be delivered, the delivery has always been on time. Every part in the order was well packaged as expected and the outer box was sealed on all sides so none of my smaller parts could escape. There is not really much to say about the finish of this oil filter as there is not really much you can see, the black paint is clean, the K&N logo is easily seen and the threaded part is super smooth. With this oil filter, I always like the fact you have a nut on the end so it is easy to tighten and loosen when needed. The seal is intact and no tears, rips of dinks. Nothing is bad with K&N oil filters at all. Never had any problems. The paint on the outer is really good and no runs or blemishes on it at all. The filter threaded on really easily and obviously, with any oil filter change, a small amount of oil on the end just to help seal. Fitted in no time at all and filled the oil in the engine. I wanted to purchase a new pinlock with a slight smoke filter with it. I did look at the genuine Arai ones but the smoke did not look that dark for what I wanted. Having previously purchased a yellow insert for this helmet, I decided I would try this brand again as the previous insert was excellent. It was not hard to find this visor insert as I already had it in my watch list. The price for this insert was a lot better value than the genuine Arai and as I said before, the smoke was a lot deeper and what I needed. With a couple of other parts in my basket, I got them all shipped using EMS. The order arrived in 7 days from being shipped, great courier service. The insert was kept nice and flat and was not damaged in any way during transit. The insert itself fits perfectly with the MAX VISION visor. The smoke is just right, not too light and not a black colour either. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase and I might even try the photochromatic one next as the price is also excellent. Due to maintenance the bearings on the rear wheel needed replacing. Rather than go for aftermarket ones, we went for the genuine Yamaha ones. No point in messing around with poor fitting after market ones. The correct bearing part number was found using the help tools on Webike pages. The cost of the bearings was really good value. Better than I thought if I am honest. The old ones were not fully done with but there was slight movement so this was only going to get worse over time. With a few other parts for the bearing change and were all shipped together by EMS all arrived at my door in 7 days. Very well packaged and in perfect condition, Having already removed the old bearings, it was clear that these were going to fail very soon, compared to the new ones, the movement was a little clunky and ever so slightly notchy unlike the new ones which were silky smooth. The bearing are super clean and run really well. No complaints from me on that score. Fitting bearings you do need to take a little care. If you do not have an adequate drift then you could damage them before even the first ride. Luckily, I have a lot of tools to help with this and to get them fitted perfectly. One of the hanger pins on this bike was problematic and the cause was that someone had cross threaded it when they were doing some kind of maintenance. There was no simple and easy fix apart from just buying a new one. Simple as that. Finding the right pin was straight forward by checking Honda schematics. The schematics showed the right one and this was then searched for on Webike. Webike price was far better than I could source from my local Honda dealer. You do need 2 of these and even though one was perfectly ok, I decided to just buy 2 at this price. With a few other small parts, I had the entire order shipped using EMS. In just 7 days from being shipped, my order arrived. The pin hangers arrived in a the usual Honda packaging but also inside a bubble wrap envelope that Webike had provided. This meant the threaded sections would no get any damage during transit. The pin hangers a re very well machined and look to be top quality from Honda. The dimensions are the exact same as the one that is pretty good condition. The threaded sections are smooth and clean from any debris. Fitting is just a simple bolt in. The caliper is now fully supported and will continue to be until someone who has no business fixing bikes is concerned. Very pleased with this small purchase, thanks guys View Detail
