Very Good
Parts replacement for KSR2 Chain AdjusterI purchased this product to replace the Chain Adjuster Parts on my KSR80 with a Dress-up for my feet.
The product package fits MSX-125 and Z-12. 5, but I bought it because the Title description on this Site says KSR (I don't know if it is for 80 or 110).
A similar product is offered for sale on Site, but at 6,000 to 8,000 yen. expensive.
Since this item sells for about 3300 yen, I felt that Damage was less even if I could not use it and decided to purchase it! 。 I really wanted the Red color Anodized, but it said it would take a long time to deliver, so I bought the Gold color, which said it would take about six days. 。 However, when I received the delivery date reply, I was informed that it would be in early April, the same as the Red color. I was disappointed that I should have chosen the Red color, but in the end, the delivery date was moved up a little and it arrived in mid-March.
Installation is super easy, just replace the OEM Product. 。 Simply lift the rear wheel, remove the Axle Shaft and replace the Plate. 。 It could be used for KSR80.
One problem I noticed was that there were no markings on the scale to serve as a guide for chain tensioning.
However, the diameter of the axle shaft is different from that of MSX and Z125, or perhaps the hole diameter through which the axle shaft passes is too large, so the guide is shifted by the large size of the hole when adjusting the chain.
Since there was no choice, the Chain adjustment was made by measuring the entry/exit dimensions of the Adjuster bolt.
Our KSR has a larger chain piece than the OEM due to the number of Sprocket pins. Therefore, the adjustment of the Chain is adjusted to the longer side, so the long hole on the Swing Arm side is a little visible when these Parts are installed.
I felt that the same number of Sprocket and Chain Pieces as the OEM would just not be seen.
Also, although the thickness of the Axle portion is the same, the Other Brand Product is thinner than the OEM by 2mm on one side, resulting in a total difference of 4mm on Both Sides.
So when the Axle Shaft is tightened, the differential Nut will enter and will not work even if the Nut's split Pin is inserted.
We responded by inserting a Washer with about 2mm of one wall to make the split Pin function to prevent loosening.
The outer diameter of the Homesen Stainless washer is large, so the washer (aluminum) for Oil's Drain bolt was just the right size without being conspicuous.View Detail
