I have not seen one of these old girls for a long time but this one came into the shop needing a few repairs. Not too bad but the fuel lines needed replacing for sure and this is what I am ordering today. The old pipes had seen better days and were showing alarming signs. Finding the right pipes for this old bike was pretty straight forward by using the tools Webike provide and cross referencing with Yamaha schematics. The price for each line was really good value and better than could be sourced locally. Along with a few other parts for this bike, I had them all shipped using EMS. My chosen courier as they just get my orders delivered fast. In 5 days from being shipped, my order arrived. All very well packaged and safely bundled together. The pipe 2 came in the standard Yamaha packet and was wrapped in foam layers. It is a nice piece of manufacturing and the quality is plain to see. The pipe is rigid enough but does have lots of flex to manoeuvre where it needs to go. The old pipe was no where near as good as the new one so I assume it was superseded at some point anyway. Fitting was straight forward and this is one job less to do to get this bike back running smoothly. Thanks Webike.
