This oil seal called as Output shaft Oil Seal located on the left side cover of the engine.I have been riding my 1987 TW200 for about 8years now. It's been long time,After removing my left side cover many times, I personally have never had to change this oil seal out, but I do inspect them.Eventually any seal will fail, up to me if I want to do it before it actually does..when I removed my left side cover off I have notice that oil seal was worn out.So I ordered couple of oil seals from Webike Shop Japan. This oil seal isn't very expensive ,very easy to removed by using flat blade screw driver.Tw200 left engine side cover has oil within . Oil actually goes through the sprocket shaft (countershaft), then lubricates the outer shaft support bearing, then flows back around stator coil, and back to the main crankcase. When installing the new seal it is a good practice to use some fine emery cloth on each shaft where the seal makes contact just so you are sure it is smooth.Removing this seal is accomplished with a small seal pick or flat blade screwdriver. Seal get installed into completely cleaned pockets and lightly tapped in to place with a small hammer, preferably plastic or some find a socket that is close in size to the seal itself. Very simple procedure and great insurance for trouble free riding for a long time. There will some resistance to removing the side cover due to the magnets in the flywheel. Also, be sure to note the routing of the stator wires where they exit the engine. It is very easy to pinch these wires when replacing the side cover if you are not careful. There is nothing really scary under the left side cover. You don't even need to drain the oil if you don't want to.Special Thanks goes to the WEBIKE shop because they have OEM,aftermarket parts for resonable prices & will receive packages within a week after they dispatch from japan.Thank You So Much!!!View Detail
